IEEE EnergyTech2011

EnergyTech 2011 will survey promising technologies in electrical power and energy to address an urgency in sustainable energy.   This new conference will bring together experts in diverse areas to review and explore technologies that promise significant contributions towards addressing a looming world energy crisis. The event will take place at Case Western Reserve University on May 25-26, 2011.

Topics will include: smart grid, energy storage, wind power, plug-in electric vehicles, co-energy, distributed generation, efficiency and conservation, power electronics, photovoltaics, solar energy, and other alternative and renewable means of power generation.  Submitted papers will be peer reviewed and the conference proceedings will be published on IEEE Xplore.  Both research and application papers are invited, with an emphasis on how the technology described can help address the global concern.

Keynote addresses will be given by representatives of DOE, ARPA-E, NSF and Draper Labs (see "keynotes" tab).

Paper submission is electronic.  See the 'paper submission' tab for formatting details and link to the electronic submission site.   Paper submission deadline is February 21, 2011, and authors will be informed of acceptances by March 28, 2011.
