The Case student-section of IEEE held an Arduino project competition on April 24. This event was co-sponsored by the IEEE Cleveland Section.
Projects controllerd by an Arduino included: a home-made table-top robot, a pan/tilt camera that followed a color target, a web-cam reader of barcodes that did automated product look-up (with help of a laptop), and a retrofit remote-control hobby car that sensed GPS and drove itself to target destinations. 1st, 2nd and 3rd-place prizes were awarded, as judged by 2 IEEE Cleveland-section officers and 2 additional Case faculty.
